In addition to our core programs of performance training, scholarship, and outreach, we often have the opportunity to link with the wider cultural institutions of the area. Last season, MBC dancers participated in two productions with Pennsylvania Ballet and danced in Temple Opera Theater’s Falstaff.
In May of 2007, the company performed at the National RDA Festival in Pittsburgh, PA, a five-day celebration of dance involving more than 2000 dancers from 92 companies from across the nation. Fifty-four MBC dancers performed in Pennsylvania Ballet’s 2007 production of The Nutcracker, including many students from our renowned Boys’ Scholarship Program.
