The 2011–2012 Performing Season
The performing season currently consists of three formal productions each year:

Family Concert Series — The Muller Auditorium, Abington, PA
Designed to introduce dance to young audiences
Friday Nov. 18, Saturday Nov. 19, Sunday Nov. 20
Designed to introduce dance to young audiences and launched in 2003, the community has enthusiastically embraced this series. This season, we will present a company premiere of Coppélia. A life-size dancing doll, a mysterious inventor, a zesty heroine and her true love all cross paths in this light-hearted comic ballet.

Variations / Collaborations — Kurtz Center, William Penn Charter School
A program in collaboration with the Settlement Music School
Saturday, March 3rd
Come Celebrate with Us!
Join us for this outstanding program of music and dance in collaboration with the Jenkintown Branch of the Settlement Music School. The performance will be held at the new Kurtz Center at William Penn Charter School and will feature the full company and 10–12 superb young musicians. Repertoire will include selections from the classical dance and music canons as well as two contemporary ballet premieres; one choreographed by New York choreographer, Carlos dos Santos, and one by MBC alumna Sarah Mettin.

2012 June Showcase
Saturday, June 2 & Sunday June 3
Metropolitan Ballet Company (MBC) presents repertoire works and joins students from our parent school, Metropolitan Ballet Academy, in Artistic Director Lisa Collins Vidnovic’s full length ballet, A Medieval Fantaisie, drawn from the enchanted life of King Arthur. These are high-quality, professional level performances open to the community. With 402 seats, The Muller Auditorium in Abington, Pennsylvania provides an ideal, intimate setting.
