This June, we invite young movers to step into the studio and discover something powerful.
The Metropolitan Ballet Company is proud to offer its Boys’ Scholarship Program, a tuition-free opportunity designed to introduce and develop dance training for boys ages 7-18. Whether brand new to dance or already exploring movement, this program creates a space to grow, challenge, and thrive.
Audition Details
OPEN TO ALL
Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM
No prior experience is required. Curiosity, energy, and a willingness to try something new are all that’s needed. Selected students will receive a full year of tuition-free training, beginning in September 2026. Participants will also have performance opportunities, allowing them to experience the energy and excitement of the stage.
Exceptional Training
Students in the program work closely with distinguished faculty, including Daniel Mayo (Juilliard, BalletX) and Vitaly Verterich (Kiev Ballet School, Riverdance on Broadway). Their combined experience brings a dynamic and inspiring approach to training young dancers.
The Boys’ Scholarship Program builds strong, capable, and confident individuals. Through consistent training, students will develop: Athleticism and strength, Balance and flexibility, Coordination and motor intelligence, Discipline and focus.

The Boys’ Scholarship Program is a proud non-profit outreach of the Metropolitan Ballet Company, committed to expanding access to dance and nurturing the next generation of artists and athletes.
