As our competitive season comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the accolades earned, but on the depth of commitment, resilience, and artistic growth that defined these past months. Across stages at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), National Ballet Competition (NBC), and the Youth International Ballet Competition (ADC/IBC), our dancers stepped forward with courage, meeting each moment with integrity and heart.

This season marked several meaningful firsts. For Elias (Junior) and Evelyn (Primary), their debut appearances on the competitive stage were met with poise and promise. Evelyn’s journey carried her all the way to the ADC/IBC Finals, after receiving 6th place at regionals, where she represented herself with grace. Mackenzie (Junior) also entered the competitive sphere for the first time at NBC, embracing the experience as a powerful step in her artistic evolution, an embodiment of growth that extends far beyond technique.

In the junior division, the level of achievement and determination was remarkable. Melecio (Junior) delivered an exceptional season, earning 2nd place at YAGP and a place at Nationals, while also competing strongly at ADC/IBC and receiving a national invitation there as well. Ethan (Junior) brought both technical precision and expressive depth to the stage, earning 1st place in classical and 3rd in contemporary at YAGP, securing his place at Nationals.
Irina’s consistency and refinement were evident throughout the season, placing in the Top 24 for classical at YAGP and achieving 10th place at ADC/IBC, along with an invitation to Finals. Lucretia (Senior) approached her performances with maturity and strength, earning 19th place at ADC/IBC among an accomplished field of dancers. Her performances blew us away.

A standout moment of the season came from our ensemble, Bukovinian Lark, which earned 1st place at YAGP and an invitation to Nationals, an achievement that reflects not only technical excellence, but unity, musicality, and shared intention.
While these results are worth celebrating, what remains most significant is the transformation that occurred within the process. The hours in the studio, the refinement of detail, the learning to persevere, and the willingness to be vulnerable in pursuit of artistry. These are the victories that shape dancers for a lifetime.

This work would not be possible without the extraordinary dedication of our coaching team, Natalya Zeiger, Sarah Mettin, Lisa Collins, Denise D’Angelo, Eva Szabo, Vitaly Veterich, Da’von Doane, Daniel Mayo, Anna Vartapetova, and Taras Lewyckyj.
As we close this chapter (with an update from Ethan at Nationals coming soon), we do so with pride in what has been accomplished and with anticipation for what lies ahead.
