Dear Friends,
For a quarter-century, our nationally renowned Boys’ Scholarship Program has provided tuition-free classical ballet training to over 425 boys, awarding more than $1.7 million in scholarships. Each year, up to 50 boys, ages 6 to 18, train and perform, making Metropolitan Ballet’s program one of the largest and most successful of its kind in the nation. We continue to draw aspiring young artists from across the region.
Our self-proclaimed “MET MEN” are motivated young people, many of whom rely on scholarship support to access our world-class classical and contemporary training. Here, they find dedicated mentors, exceptional performance opportunities, and lifelong friendships. While some pursue professional dance careers with leading companies, others leverage their training at Metropolitan as a foundation for success in college and beyond.
We are so proud of this pioneering program, and warmly invite your support for our newest cohort of young men as they begin the 2025-2026 training season. Boys’ Scholarship Program donations directly support our all-male classes in Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Strength Training and Partnering, guided by an acclaimed men’s faculty.
To further commemorate this exciting milestone, we are thrilled to announce the creation of an Endowment Fund for the program, in honor of the late Mr. William “Wally” Loeb, our dear friend and founding sponsor. Contributions to this fund will help ensure the sustainability of our efforts for the next 25 years.

We hope you’ll consider making a new tax-deductible gift or renewing your support for our Met Men. Thanks to a matching grant opportunity, donations to the Endowment Fund up to $25,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, helping us reach a $75,000 goal.
