Metropolitan Ballet Celebrates 25 Years

A sold-out audience brought the love to Met’s 25th Anniversary Gala performance on June 4, 2022. Met honored Jessica Lang and Kanji Segawa, for their stellar contributions to the dance world and to Metropolitan. Together they’ve had a profound influence on audiences world-wide and hundreds of Metropolitan dancers since they started visiting as guest faculty and choreographers over 20 years ago. Thirteen Metropolitan alumni dancers flew in to perform classical and contemporary works, alongside new Company premieres by Sarah Mettin and Ashley Walton.
